Fortuity made its debut at The Public Theater as part of the Devised Theater Working Group Residency. In this electrifying workshop showing, audiences stepped into an immersive disco wonderland, guided by the ageless and enigmatic character Fortuity. The performance transformed the The Shiva Theatre, a blackbox space, into a pulsating nightclub, blending live music, poetry, choreographed dance, DJ breaks, and burlesque into a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience.

Inspired by the Queens of disco, the energy of late-night raves, and the timeless themes of love and connection, Fortuity offered attendees a night of uninhibited joy and collective storytelling. This showing celebrated the collaborative spirit of immersive art while continuing to evolve as a bold exploration of soul, community, and the transformative power of music.
