The 2017 St. Ann’s Warehouse Gala brought together supporters to celebrate the power of art in challenging times. The evening featured a concert by Tony Award-winner Lena Hall, known for her role as Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Hall performed a range of songs by artists like Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, and Talking Heads, blending elements of theater and rock music in a unique performance.

The gala also honored Buzzy O’Keeffe and Steve Hindy, recognizing their contributions to Brooklyn’s cultural and culinary landscape through The River Café and Brooklyn Brewery. The event began with cocktails on the waterfront and in the Max Family Garden, followed by Hall’s concert and a family-style dinner in the Joseph S. and Diane H. Steinberg Theater. The evening celebrated creativity, community, and the influential figures shaping Brooklyn’s identity.
